Tickets to travel on the Genoa AMT network can be purchased:

Subway
The Genoa subway is free every day from 10am to 4pm and from 8pm to 10pm.
The historic Genoa - Casella railway
The Genoa-Casella railway was conceived and built between 1900 and 1929. The line connects the city with its countryside, crossing three valleys.
It is possible to use the railway to reach some of the starting points for treks to sites such as the Genoese Forts, the Ciaè Refuge, the Lorefice Refuge, the historic Genoese aqueduct, Monte Sella, Creto, Monte Alpe, the Alta Via del Monti Liguri hiking trail, the Sanctuary of Nostra Signora della Vittoria, Montemaggio and Crocefieschi.
In addition to experiencing the charm of the historic railway, the Genoa-Casella railway allows you to admire the natural beauty of the Ligurian countryside and its food and wine excellence.

The boat bus service
The Navebus service connects the Porto Antico area with the Pegli district. Take advantage of the Navebus to see Genoa from the privileged perspective of the sea as you've never seen it before!
Pegli with its museums represents the meeting point between sea, nature, and archaeology: from the archaeology museum at Villa Pallavicini to the Botanical Garden of Villa Centurione-Doria up to the Naval Museum of Villa Doria. The Old Port is the beating heart of the city, with the Aquarium, the Bigo, the Biosphere, the Galata Museo del Mare, Piazza delle Feste and just a few steps away, the historical and commercial centre of Genoa.

- Reduced priced tickets reserved exclusively for residents of the Municipality of Genoa valid for one ride on the Navebus + 60 minutes on the AMT network (upon presentation of a valid identity document showing one's residence) € 1.60.

The provincial service
The provincial public transport service offers a wide range of travel tickets for all travel needs in the vast area of the Metropolitan City.
The provincial transport tariff system is based on "zones" identified by a number and a characterizing name. The tariff changes every 4 zones, i.e. when a movement is made - even using several vehicles - within a maximum of 4 adjacent zones and in any case within a certain time period indicated on the ticket itself.
The tariffs are defined on the basis of the number of zones crossed indicated in the relative tables.

Tickets for the provincial service
Ordinary tickets
It allows free movement and bus changes within the number of pre-selected zones (can be used on the entire provincial network with the exception of the 782 line):
- Fare A – travel within up to 4 adjacent zones - valid for 75 minutes - € 1.80
- Fare B – travel within between 5 to 8 adjacent zones - valid for 120 minutes - € 3.00
- Fare C – over 8 zones – valid for 180 minutes - € 4.50
- MET Daily - 24 hours - € 10,00

782 line Santa Margherita Ligure - Portofino

Thanks to line 782, you will have the opportunity to reach the famous village by bus with numerous daily connections.
The rate of the provincial line 782 is different from the others. The ticket allows you to travel on the 782 line and allows free movement in the adjacent areas: Recco, Rapallo, Ruta, Zoagli e Camogli. It is valid for 75 minutes from validation €3.50; or take advantage of the Ocean Race promotion with the Met Daily.
