On AMT vehicles, the first installations of the new validators dedicated to the Regional Electronic Ticketing System of Liguria have begun.
On this page, we explain how to correctly validate your tickets using the new red validators and how to check the validity of your travel document.
Ticket validation
The new Regional Electronic Ticketing System provides for the “virtual validation” of the ticket on the new red validators through the QR Code.

How do I validate my travel document?
If you have a paper ticket with a QR Code:
Hold it close to the bottom part of the new validator. The system will read the QR Code and automatically validate the ticket.
If you have a paper ticket without a QR Code:
You must write down by hand: the time, date, and vehicle number.
I don’t have a ticket: what should I do?
If you don’t have a ticket, you can purchase one directly from the new red validators (only AMT tickets, valid for 110 minutes, cost €2) by tapping your contactless credit or debit card. Simply place it near the part of the validator marked with the contactless symbol. Accepted circuits: Visa, Maestro, MasterCard.

Please note: the device does not issue any paper ticket or SMS receipt.
I have a CityPass card loaded with a subscription: do I need to validate it?
